Responsibilities

Software Development & Architecture
- Design and build the core software platform integrating AI-driven robotics with manufacturing hardware
- Develop computer vision and motion planning systems for automation
- Define the long-term technology roadmap in collaboration with the CTO

On-site Implementation
- Work at factories in Japan to identify physical bottlenecks
- Implement real-world solutions to improve manufacturing processes

Team & Culture Building
- Help establish and lead the initial engineering culture at AORA
Requirements
- Strong background in Software, Robotics, or Hardware
- Experience with AI, computer vision, and motion planning
- Excellent English communication skills; willingness to live in Japan
- Ability to work in ambiguity, ship code quickly, and collaborate closely with hardware teams
