Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop data strategies
- Formulate hypotheses, analyze qualitative and quantitative data, and validate findings
- Forecast pricing and support data-driven decision-making

Data Management & Visualization
- Build and optimize data pipelines using tools like BigQuery, dbt, and Python
- Create dashboards with BI tools such as Looker and Looker Studio
- Transform diverse data sources into accessible data warehouses

Team & Process Development
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training team members
- Improve processes, policies, and tools to enhance team performance
- Present analytical insights clearly to non-technical audiences
Requirements
- Native Japanese or JLPT N1; higher technical skills if less proficient in Japanese
- 2+ years relevant experience; 5+ years for senior roles
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala; experience with data modeling and ML libraries
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), data warehousing, and ETL tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on-site in Tokyo
