Job Description
Responsibilities

System Reliability and Scalability
- Design and improve platform reliability, scalability, and operability
- Partner with engineering teams to embed reliability and performance
- Build automation for infrastructure, deployment, scaling, and incident prevention
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure (GCP) with security and compliance
- Establish incident response processes for continuous improvement
- Lead reliability culture and team foundation

DevOps and Monitoring
- Design and operate internal platforms, CI/CD, and testing environments
- Define and operate SLIs/SLOs for data-driven reliability decisions
- Implement monitoring and observability platforms
Requirements

Experience
- 7+ years in software development, 5+ years in SRE or related roles
- Designing and operating cloud architectures, IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
- Web application development and troubleshooting
- Fluent Japanese communication (JLPT N2 or 3+ years in Japanese environment)

Nice to Have
- Distributed systems, high-traffic backend systems, GCP experience
- Monitoring tools like Datadog, SRE culture promotion, networking knowledge
