• Responsibilities

  • Research and Development
    • Develop open-source LLM models
    • Create automatic evaluation methods for entertainment machine translation
    • Implement multimodal machine translation for manga and comics
    • Develop OCR for onomatopoeia in manga/comics
    • Build ML-based typesetting engine for manga translation

  Qualifications

  • Basic
    • Master's or Ph.D. in machine learning or 2+ years practical experience
    • Experience in research, publishing, and training ML models
  • Preferred
    • PhD in CS, EE, or related fields
    • Publication record in top conferences (ACL, CVPR, etc.)
    • Experience with LLMs, diffusion models, and web application development
    • Japanese language skill (JLPT N2+)
