• Work Location

  • This is a 100% remote position based in Japan, hired under our Toon Boom Japan legal entity.
  • While there is no physical office requirement, you must be based in Tokyo to be eligible.

  What You'll Do

  • Act as Toon Boom’s technical and creative ambassador in Japan, bridging studios, education, and government.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Solutions teams to design production workflows showcasing Harmony and Storyboard Pro.
  • Design and execute POCs with studios, integrating Toon Boom tools into Japanese pipelines.
  • Serve as the technical reference at major events and workshops, such as the Japan Production Summit.

  What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in 2D animation production with Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro.
  • Native Japanese fluency and Business English proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of cut-out / rig-based animation and traditional Japanese studio practices.
  • Excellent presentation and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Preferred experience as a Production Coordinator, Technical Director, or Rigging Lead.
